Our Story

Cheese 4 Eyes began in China.

Over time, our team found ourselves living in different parts of the world — some stayed in China, while others made their homes abroad. Distance gave us a new way of seeing the culture we grew up with, and a desire to bring it into new places and everyday lives.

From China, to wherever life takes us.

    From an idea and a sketch to an object in your hands, every piece carries a little of how we imagine everyday life.

    We love finding stories in art and culture.

    An old painting, a vintage book, or a traditional cloth tiger can all become new inspiration. Through contemporary design, we give these stories a new expression and a place in everyday life.

    Some things can only carry the warmth of the hands that made them.

    We work with artisans, heritage craft practitioners, and local communities. In Dali, Yunnan, we also have our own space dedicated to traditional craft and creative culture, bringing craftsmanship and contemporary design into everyday life.

    We hope these traditions are not only preserved, but also seen, loved, and carried forward.
